A senior Iranian military commander has warned that the United States would be defeated in a war with Iran, citing the country’s armed forces and public support, Iran International reports.
Habibollah Sayyari, the Iranian Army’s chief of staff and deputy coordinator, made the remarks during a visit to the Iran Civil Aviation Organization.
He said the United States “will be defeated, with all its hollow defensive equipment and capabilities, and this will go down in history.”
