Islam Times – Ansar Allah commemorated the 26th anniversary of Lebanon’s Liberation Day, praising Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and reaffirming support for the Lebanese resistance. The political bureau of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement marked the 26th anniversary of Lebanon’s Resistance and Liberation Day on Monday, praising the role of martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in leading the resistance movement through one of the most difficult periods.
In a statement, Ansar Allah said the anniversary represents a moment to remember “the greatness of martyrdom and the sacrifices of the martyrs,” while paying special tribute to “the martyr of Islam and humanity, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.”
The movement stated that Nasrallah “led the resistance in the darkest circumstances and carried it into an era of victories,” describing him as “an inspiring school in leadership, jihad, faith, and steadfastness.”
Ansar Allah warns against normalization with occupation
Ansar Allah stressed that the anniversary of southern Lebanon’s liberation from Israeli occupation should serve as a reminder of recent history and the role of the Islamic resistance in confronting Israeli aggression.
The movement said Lebanon would have remained “an exposed arena for the Zionist enemy” without the sacrifices made by the resistance.
It also criticized certain Lebanese political forces, saying some parties continue to place hope in normalization and peace with the Israeli occupation while living under a “deceptive illusion.”
Congratulations to Hezbollah and Sheikh Naim Qassem
In its closing remarks, Ansar Allah renewed its congratulations to the Lebanese people, the Islamic resistance, and Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day.
The anniversary comes amid continued Israeli aggression on Lebanon and ongoing attempts by the Israeli occupation to maintain control over areas in southern Lebanon.
Earlier, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem stated during a speech marking the occasion that the resistance would confront the occupation’s actions, declaring: “We will announce the third liberation soon.”
