Israel calls Hezbollah ceasefire violations ‘unacceptable’ as cross-border tensions escalate
Israel’s Foreign Ministry has accused Hezbollah of violating the renewed ceasefire, describing its actions as “unacceptable.”
“Just last night, the Iranian proxy launched multiple missile and drone attacks from Lebanon against Israeli communities,” the ministry said in a statement.
The comments come amid continued exchanges of fire across the Israel–Lebanon border, with both sides accusing the other of breaching ceasefire understandings.
At the same time, reports from Lebanon have alleged repeated Israeli strikes on civilian areas, including attacks on medics, health facilities, and journalists.
Lebanese authorities say the death toll in the country since March 2 has reached 3,433, with 10,395 people injured.
