Two drone strikes have targeted an Iranian Kurdish opposition camp east of Iraq’s Erbil, as confirmed by security sources on Monday. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported from the incidents.

The attacks occurred on Sunday. One of the drones struck a base of the Kurdish Peshmerga forces near Iraq’s Sulaimaniya, while the other hit a camp housing Iranian Kurdish opposition groups situated west of the city, security sources revealed.

The incidents underline the persistent geopolitical tensions in the region, impacting Kurdish communities across borders.
