Iran’s Foreign Ministry has stated that the Gulf states bear the responsibility to prevent the United States from using their territory to launch attacks against Iran.
The ministry believes that the US’s nighttime strikes against Iran are a gross violation of the UN Charter.
“The Foreign Ministry, strongly condemning the crime of US military aggression against Iran, once again reminds all countries in the region, particularly those on the southern shores of the Persian Gulf, of their legal and moral responsibility to prevent any use of their territory and facilities by the US military and Israel to plan, organize, carry out or support aggressive actions against Iran,” the statement said.
The ministry stressed that they will not hesitate to exercise their right to self-defense, including by striking the sources of the attacks, as well as the bases and logistical structures used to carry out or support aggressive actions against Iran.
