It’s a new era of basketball at Lebanon Valley College. Earlier this month, the Flying Dutchmen announced a new leader as just the 25th head basketball coach in program history. Matt Miller was named the head men’s basketball coach at Lebanon Valley College on June 4, succeeding Brad McAlester, who retired after 32 seasons.“I’m thrilled. My family is thrilled,” Miller said. “You can feel the love and warmth from the program and how storied of a program LVC is.”Miller’s path to the jobHe comes to LVC from the University of New Hampshire, where he spent the last two seasons as an assistant. “I’ve been really building, you know, and trying to study and learn and grow so I could get an opportunity like this,” Miller said. Return to Division IIIAfter spending several years at Division I schools, he’s excited to return to the Division III level.“It’s special because it’s authentic. It’s genuine. Miller’s path to the job

He comes to LVC from the University of New Hampshire, where he spent the last two seasons as an assistant.

“I’ve been really building, you know, and trying to study and learn and grow so I could get an opportunity like this,” Miller said.

Return to Division III
