Lebanon County couple’s train display finds new home with charitable donation

Jay and Carolyn Buffenmyer from Palmyra, Lebanon County, have found a new home for their elaborate train display, which they have been working on for decades, with the condition that a donation be made to Brittany’s Hope, a charity for children in third-world countries.After their story aired, someone came forward and “purchased” the entire set, promising a $10,000 donation to the charity.The Buffenmyers said the new owner plans to put the display up for public view sometime in the future.
