Two drivers were killed in a head-on crash Tuesday night in South Lebanon Township, according to police.

Officers responded to the 3100 block of State Drive around 10:10 p.m. March 10 for a reported motor vehicle crash, South Lebanon Township police said.

The preliminary investigation determined that Cole David Steffy, 47, of Mansfield, was driving a 2016 Audi Q3 northbound on State Drive when the vehicle crossed into the opposing lane and struck a southbound 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Rilee Caileb Knable, 19, of Palmyra.

The Lebanon County Coroner’s Office pronounced both drivers dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has additional information is asked to contact the South Lebanon Township Police Department.
