President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed Iran has agreed to allow United Nations inspectors to visit the three nuclear sites the U.S. bombed last year, even though Tehran’s foreign ministry said no such visits had been scheduled.
“Iran has fully and completely agreed to highest level Nuclear inspections long into the future (Infinity!!!),” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “If they did not agree to this, there would be no further negotiations!”
Trump also seemed to take offense to the criticism the initial deal he signed with Iran last week has received, accusing news outlets of “doing everything possible to make the U.S. Victory as small and insignificant as possible.” The preliminary agreement has been criticized even by some Republicans.

The president also maintained that any financial relief given to Iran “will be used for the purchase of food and medical supplies, exclusively from the United States, including Corn, Wheat, and Soybeans from our great American Farmers.”
But the spokesperson of Iran’s foreign ministry, Esmail Baghaei, previously said any decisions on what to import will be determined based on “prices and quality.”
“It is interesting that the philosophy and goal of the war, which was the destruction of the Iranian civilization and the collapse of Iran, has become enriching American farmers,” Baghaei said in an earlier press conference, according to The Associated Press.
In a separate social media post, Trump said 19 million barrels of oil flowed through the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, declaring that “the World is a much safer place!!!”
