Nearly 1,900 people have lost their lives in Iran and Lebanon since the beginning of the war in the Middle East, the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva reported on Friday, citing national authorities.

In Iran, 1,255 people have been killed and more than 15,100 injured, the WHO stated. More than 100,000 people have been displaced within the country.

In Lebanon, 634 fatalities and more than 1,586 injured have been reported according to the WHO.

According to Lebanese authorities, the death toll has now reached about 690. The WHO reported more than 800,000 internally displaced people in Lebanon.
