Top oil exporter Saudi Arabia appears to be about to restart loading crude at the Ras Tanura terminal inside the Persian Gulf, more than a week after a US-Iran peace deal was struck to free up the region’s petroleum flows.
The Saudi-owned very large crude carriers Zaynah and Amad may be the first to load from the kingdom’s main export terminal. Automated position signals show the ships moving toward the single-point moorings at Ju’aymah, where they can take on cargoes, from the anchorage on Thursday morning.
