The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York Counties until 9:30 p.m. At 8:17 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Palmyra to Stewartstown, moving east at 25 mph.HAZARD 60 mph wind gusts IMPACT Expect damage to roofs, siding and trees Locations impacted include Lancaster, Lebanon, Ephrata, Elizabethtown, Columbia, Lititz, Millersville, Willow Street, Mount Joy, Palmyra, Red Lion, and New Holland.This includes the following Interstates The Pennsylvania Turnpike from mile markers 257 to 295 and Interstate 83 from mile markers 0 to 3.Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in State College PA.Very heavy rainfall is occurring with these severe thunderstorms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
