LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) – Fourth of July fireworks in Lebanon have been rescheduled due to Saturday’s severe weather.
Lebanon PA250 announced on Facebook that Saturday’s show would be rescheduled to Sunday, July 5, “in the interest of public safety.”
Transportation will be available starting at 7:30 p.m. for those in the city looking to watch the fireworks.
Residents were encouraged to follow the social media pages of the city and the organization for more details.
The City of Harrisburg’s July 4 fireworks and festivities were also moved due to the thunderstorms that crossed through the Midstate on Saturday evening.
Winds brought down trees across the region and knocked power out for tens of thousands. As of 11 p.m. Saturday, nearly 6,000 Lebanon County FirstEnergy residents did not have power.
