Hello readers, Iran and the United States exchanged fresh strikes, with Tehran declaring the Strait of Hormuz closed. The US, however, said the strait remained open as its military carried out attacks on several Iranian military sites. Recent reports said 20 commercial vessels had passed through Hormuz in the past 24 hours. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Saturday that Tehran had ‘kept its word’ on the ceasefire with the US, after Donald Trump said the truce had ended, while also agreeing to continue talks.
