Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has almost ground to a halt again following the renewed exchange of attacks between the United States and Iran, data provider Kpler said on Friday.
Only eight ships passed through the strait on Thursday, the lowest figure in three weeks, Kpler said in a post on X. There were 15 passages on Wednesday.
Two weeks ago, the figure stood at 48. Before the war began in late February, more than 100 ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz each day on average.
