US-Iran War Live Updates:

The US launched another round of attacks on Iran, while Kuwait activated its air defences against drones and Iran’s Revolutionary Guards claimed to have struck an “enemy command centre” in Syria.

In neighbouring Bahrain, the interior ministry said air raid sirens had been activated, urging both citizens and residents to move to “the nearest safe place”.

Late on Sunday, US Central Command announced the start of its ninth consecutive night of military operations against Iran. In a post on X, the command said the strikes were intended to “degrading Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners” in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

The renewed attacks came after a preliminary agreement aimed at ending the conflict collapsed, with both sides remaining locked in a standoff over control of the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial route for global oil shipments.
