West Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department recently announced it had updated Rescue 4-1.

“To better serve our community and maximize our resources, we recently remounted our former Squad 4-1’s dependable Ford chassis with a “new-to-us” rescue box,” the department announced on social media. “The original utility service box was aging and no longer suited the evolving operational needs of our department.

“A huge thank you to Dowell Automotive for handling the rescue box remount, as well as the full mechanical inspection and repairs to ensure it’s emergency-ready. Shoutout to Move Over Outfitters for the stellar work updating the graphics to match our fleet’s new color scheme!”

The information released also includes several photos of the updated tools, equipment, and gear packed into the new setup, “making sure our crew has exactly what they need when responding to an emergency.

“Keep an eye out for Rescue 4-1 around the community, and stay safe out there!”
