Lebanon County woman charged after dog dies without veterinary care, police say
LEBANON, Pa. —
A Lebanon County woman is facing animal cruelty and other charges after police said she failed to obtain veterinary treatment for her injured dog, leading to its death.

The Lebanon County Regional Police Department began investigating the case around 8:30 p.m. April 17. Police said the investigation originated at a home in the 2100 block of Church Street in West Lebanon Township.
Investigators allege 50-year-old Holly Jean Ondeck failed to provide veterinary care after her dog was injured around 9 p.m. April 16. The animal later died, according to police.
After the dog’s death, Ondeck allegedly placed its body inside a cooler and left it on the front porch of a home in the 300 block of North Fifth Street in Lebanon.
Ondeck is charged with felony aggravated cruelty to an animal, neglect of an animal and disorderly conduct.
Lebanon City police and the Pennsylvania SPCA assisted with the investigation.
