Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) has reported several new Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, including an incident involving a team of water utility workers in Bint Jbeil.
According to the state-run agency, the workers came under fire while repairing the local water network. The report did not provide details on whether anyone was injured or killed in the incident.
NNA also reported Israeli artillery fire on the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, directed toward the area of Mayfadoun.
In a separate incident, the agency said the Israeli military carried out an explosion near a mosque in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah.
The reports come amid continued tensions and military activity along southern Lebanon, where attacks and exchanges of fire have raised concerns over the safety of civilians and essential infrastructure.
The reported incident involving water utility workers is particularly significant because damage to water networks can disrupt access to basic services for communities already affected by the conflict.
The claims were reported by Lebanon’s state news agency, and further details about the incidents, including casualties or the circumstances surrounding the reported fire, were not immediately available.
