Israeli forces raided a village in southern Syria and detained a young man before withdrawing from the area.
The Israeli army carried out the raid in Maariya village in the Daraa countryside, according to the report. The village is among areas in southern Syria that have been occupied by Israeli forces.
During the operation, Israeli soldiers detained a young man, Al-Ikhbariya reported, without providing further details about his identity or the reason for his detention.
The Israeli forces later withdrew from the village and headed toward the Jazira barracks, according to the Syrian state broadcaster.
The report comes amid continued tensions and Israeli military activity in southern Syria, where Israeli forces have carried out operations in areas near the Syrian border.
