Israel has stated that the strikes killed Ali Larijani, a key figure in Iran’s political and security structure, along with General Gholam Reza Soleimani, the head of the Basij force.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also confirmed the operation and described it as a major success.
“This morning, we eliminated Ali Larijani. Ali Larijani is the boss of the Revolutionary Guards, which is the gang of gangsters that actually runs Iran. Alongside him, we also eliminated the commander of the Basij—the henchmen of the gangsters, who spread terror in the streets of Tehran and other Iranian cities against the population,” Netanyahu said.

Alongside confirming the strike, Netanyahu urged Iranian citizens to act against their leadership.
“We’re undermining this regime in the hope of giving the Iranian people a chance to oust it. It won’t happen all at once; it won’t happen easily. But if we persist in this—we’ll allow them to take their fate into their own hands,” he stated.
The release of strike footage marks a new phase in the conflict, where both military action and information warfare are intensifying.
Experts believe that targeting high-profile leaders and publicly sharing videos of such operations could increase pressure on Iran while also raising the risk of retaliation. As the situation evolves, the conflict continues to deepen, with both sides showing increasing aggression on multiple fronts.
