Former German ambassador to Israel Steffen Seibert has called on Berlin to consider “targeted measures” against Israel over its West Bank settlement policy, describing settler violence against Palestinians as “displacement through psychological and physical violence” and stressing that Germany’s commitment to Israel does not extend to the settlements.
