LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. – State police say two people have been arrested for stealing property from a shop in Myerstown.

Police responded to Lauck’s Sporting Goods on 26 West Main St. on July 31 around 5:17 a.m. for the report of a burglary.

The initial investigation reveals that an unknown individual gained entry to the business by breaking a window.

The two suspects removed 4 handguns before fleeing the area, police say.

According to police, investigators developed and followed up on numerous investigative leads, which led to the arrest of two individuals believed to be connected to this crime.

Through further investigation, the stolen guns were identified and recovered, police say.

Both individuals remain in custody in the Lebanon County Prison in lieu of bail. A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for August 20.
