At a public event I recently attended, representatives of several organizations working on proposals to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict took the stage one after another to persuade the audience to support their respective plans. They answered questions about different aspects of their proposals and made their case to the audience, which then voted for its preferred plan.
