Journalist and analyst Avishai Ben-Haim has declared Gadi Eisenkot to be a “Mizrahi tragedy.” The Ashkenazi hegemony, according to Ben-Haim, is using Eisenkot in order to regain power, to remove Mizrahi Jews from the seat of power and replace them with the “Islamic Movement” I don’t share the scorn some people feel toward Ben-Haim.
