TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WSMV) – A murder suspect wanted out of Wilson County was tracked down in Coffee County on Thursday and taken into custody.
The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office reported that detectives were looking for Jeaneen Boyas in connection with a domestic incident at the Cherokee Marina on August 14 that resulted in the death of Robert Mallen.
Boyas was located in Coffee County and arrested with the help of Coffee County deputies and Tullahoma Police. She was transported back to Wilson County for processing.
“Our detectives have worked diligently throughout this investigation, and I am grateful for their commitment and attention to detail,” said Sheriff Robert Bryan. “I also want to thank the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office and Tullahoma Police Department for their assistance. Cooperation between law enforcement agencies is extremely important, and we appreciate their willingness to assist us in bringing this individual into custody.”
Boyas was booked for first-degree murder and remains in the Wilson County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
