Shapiro meets with voters in Berks, Lebanon and Union counties

Governor Josh Shapiro campaigned Saturday in three spots across Pennsylvania, trying to mobilize voters in Berks, Lebanon and Union counties.

“I’m really here today because you’re the people that have the real power in this situation. You’re the people with the ability to make a huge difference, not just in our commonwealth, but in our country,” said Shapiro in Lebanon.

Shapiro said the tour was part of his “Week of Action.”

He will go up against Republican State Treasurer Stacy Garrity in November.

Garrity’s campaign told News 8 in response to Shapiro’s events today that “hardworking Pennsylvania families are ready for a turnaround and Stacy Garrity’s message is clear: help is on the way.”
