The ARC documented a protest outside Israel’s embassy in Washington, D.C., where demonstrators drenched the pavement in fake blood and set up mock graves draped in Palestinian flags, invoking classical “blood libel” tropes long used to demonize Jews and incite antisemitic violence.
Signs seen at the protest included “Israelis are baby killers,” “No place for Israel in a good world,” “Expose Israel’s control of Washington,” “Gaza has become a graveyard for children,” and “Israel out of U.S.!”
The ARC tracked a geographic cluster of antisemitic activities this week in Dearborn, Michigan, where five incidents were recorded.
The incidents represented a convergence of neo-Nazi and Islamist ideologies, including a “Christian Crusader March” featuring swastika imagery and Hitler salutes, as well as a separate protest where demonstrators chanted “Heil Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis, down with Israel!”
The latest Global Antisemitism Report highlights 104 new incidents of antisemitism monitored worldwide by the Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM during the past week.
Broken down by ideological categories, 43.3% of the incidents were Far-Left (45), 19.2% Islamist-Inspired (20 incidents) and 17.3% Far-Right (18), with 20.2% Unattributable/Other (21).
