Wawa to host grand opening party at new store in Lebanon Friday

Matthew DietzLEBANON, Ohio —

Wawa is continuing its expansion into Ohio and will be celebrating with a grand opening party on Friday.

The party will mark the opening of Wawa’s new store on State Route 63 in Lebanon.

Wawa said the event will begin at 7:55 a.m. and will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, free T-shirts and coffee, a “Hoagies for Heroes” hoagie-building competition with first responders and an appearance from Wawa’s mascot, Wally Goose.

It comes as Wawa expands across the United States and in Ohio, with dozens of stores expected to be opened in the Buckeye State over the next five to eight years.

The Lebanon store will be the 50th Wawa store to open in 2026. Nearly 100 new Wawa stores are expected to open this year.
