Severe storms swept through the Susquehanna Valley, causing damage, road closures, and widespread power outages.

Old Philadelphia Pike in Salisbury Township was closed due to storm damage. Officials did not immediately say when the road would reopen.

Power outages were reported across the Susquehanna Valley, with Lancaster and Lebanon counties experiencing the most significant impacts.

At last check, Lancaster County had more than 1,600 customers without power, while Lebanon County reported over 1,200 outages. Cumberland County had more than 600 outages, Perry and York counties reported over 400, and Dauphin County experienced more than 300 outages.
