Watch: Tens of thousands at Selichot prayers at Western Wall

A moving gathering: Tens of thousands of people attended the central Selichot prayer service at the Western Wall on Saturday night.

The prayers were led by Rabbi Yaakov Ades. Among those in attendance were Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch, Rabbi of the Western Wall and the Holy Sites, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

Minister Smotrich said: “Together with tens of thousands of worshippers, I was privileged to take part tonight in the special Selichot service at the Western Wall. Alongside reciting the Selichot prayers, we prayed for the success of our soldiers and for victory for the national camp during the significant period ahead of us.”
