Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Al-Ma’uluma, Ahmed Rahim Al-Moussawi, a representative of the Iraqi Parliament’s Security and Defense Commission, stressed that the resistance forces have the right to target American elements remaining in the country after the period specified on September 30.
He added: The presence of American troops in Iraq after September 30 is considered illegal and illegitimate, and thus this right is given to resistance groups to target them throughout Iraq.
Al-Moussawi emphasized: America’s commitment to the agreement signed with Baghdad and its withdrawal from Iraq will ensure that diplomatic relations between them remain sustainable.
He said: The Iraqi government has asked American forces to leave the country because the security situation in Iraq is under the control of internal forces. In the first phase, the withdrawal of American forces will include all of Iraq’s territory except the Kurdistan Region, and after a year, they will also withdraw from this region.
