■ Defense Minister Israel Katz declared at a state memorial ceremony that Israel will not withdraw from the Yellow Line in Gaza to new deployment lines inside the Strip as long as Hamas is not removed and Gaza is not demilitarized from weapons and tunnels.
■ Israeli ambassador to Germany Ron Prosor has warned of an “immediate existential threat” to the Jewish community in Berlin after a far-left party won a regional election in the German capital despite allegations of anti-Semitism.
