Mysteries in Time – Family activity across the country
During the intermediate days of Sukkot, set out to discover the stories hidden in 20 heritage sites and national parks across the country, in the interactive game Mysteries in Time, where participants discover the story of the place while solving riddles, accompanied digitally by a WhatsApp bot and a special humorous podcast.
The game is intended for the whole family and is recommended for ages 7 and up. The game kit can be purchased at sales points at the various sites.

The Missing Etrog Challenge

Sukkot at the top at Mount Hermon
During the holiday, guided tours combining nature, heritage, and geopolitics will take place at Mount Hermon. The tour begins at the upper level; after a ride on the new cable car, visitors head out for a spectacular view and an explanation of the area (entry to the site is free). In addition, the site features extreme sledding, the Sky Rider facility – reminiscent of a suspended roller coaster, with virtual reality goggles added – and more.

Game fair at Ofer Grand Mall

33rd Storytelling Festival
The Storytelling Festival under the artistic direction of Yossi Alfi, one of Israel’s central and prominent cultural events, returns for the 33rd time. Fly on Nature – Sukkot Happening at the Eilat Birdwatching Park
During two days of activity, you can join fascinating guided tours about the life of birds passing through the park, and observe the spectacular flamingo birds and other waterfowl up close using telescopes. Tamar Festival celebrates 26 years
The Tamar Festival continues to lead its unique artistic line with a genre-crossing, cross-generational, and diverse audience lineup that creates intriguing musical encounters, one-time collaborations, and artistic connections born especially for the festival. At the foot of Masada and amidst the primeval landscapes of the Dead Sea, the biggest and leading names in Israeli music will unite on the festival stages. Fast and Furious: Israel Drag Racing Championship finals in Arad
During Hol Hamoed Sukkot, Arad will become the hub of motor sports in Israel on the occasion of the Israel Drag Racing Championship finals. About 100 competitors are expected to take part in the competition, featuring rare supercars, cars modified to the limit, and dedicated race cars. Alongside the competition: A display of exotic and modified cars, attractions for the whole family, kosher food stalls, and additional surprises.

Agriculture Festival – Megilot Dead Sea
An experiential agricultural celebration for the whole family in the heart of the Dead Sea landscape – featuring agricultural tours among fields and orchards, guided safari tours and private vehicle tours, an agriculture and local produce fair, stalls, tastings, and local crafts, inflatables, games, workshops, a variety of activities, and an active food-truck area throughout the day. On stage: A live performance by the Shalva Band.

Piyyut Festival in Yeruham
A rich and diverse festival connecting East and West, community, and performances by Israel’s greatest artists, under the open sky and with free entry to all events. In the spotlight: Performances by Ethnix, Berry Sakharof, Ishtar, Narquis, and a special show in memory of the late Yishai Levi featuring his son Yishai and Amir Benayoun. A central part of the festival this year will be dedicated to celebrating the heritage of the various communities that make up Yeruham.

Desert Magic: Sukkot of experiences
The Desert Magic initiative connects travelers with hosts, entrepreneurs, and creators from Bedouin society, allowing visitors to experience up close the cultural, culinary, and human richness of the Negev. Sukkot events will include street food tours in Rahat, the magic of the market in Beersheba, “Ramadan 365” – Rahat through culture, art, and cuisine, and a journey to Mamshit.

Sukkot Nights in the Old City in Beersheba
In the heart of the Old City of Beersheba, salsa and bachata dancing, line dancing, a Brazilian dancer carnival, batucadas, and capoeira will take place alongside artist stalls selling jewelry, fashion, and crafts. Nightlife businesses will offer an Oktoberfest celebration featuring diverse beers, live performances, DJ sets, lectures, guest chefs, desert wine tastings, bar tours, and unique cultural content in addition to ongoing operations.
