Iran’s Energy Ministry said the latest US and Israeli strikes on Sunday evening local time targeted power supply facilities in the capital Tehran.
Power outages ensued in various districts, with emergency teams dispatched to the affected areas to restore supply as quickly as possible, state broadcaster IRIB reported, citing the ministry.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military reported it had carried out fresh attacks on targets linked to Iran’s leadership in Tehran. However, the military initially gave no details on the exact targets of the latest wave of strikes.
