Strategic level support Technical level support

• A smooth WoS transition, joint planning and prioritization by almost “new”
80 partners being transitioned from NWS and NES, both at the national and
sub-national levels.
• 2025 Health Sector Annual Report and 2026 Health Sector Plan of Action –
validated by the Ministry of Health of Syria.
• In place coordination all levels and across all 14 governorates, with the
established:
– National (Damascus, covering the south) and 8 sub-national (Aleppo, Idleb,
Lattakia/Tartous, Homs, Hama, Deir-ez-Zoir, Hassakeh, Raqqa) health
sector coordination forums.
– 5 respective national sub-sector technical working groups, including
MHPSS, SRH, RCCE, Trauma/Disability, HIM, are functional as well Al Hol
camp health sector coordination group.
• Under the overall leadership of the MoH Syria, more than 100 operational
health sector organizations, within and outside the scope of the HRP, are
in place.
• 2025 is the first year when the national MoH resumed its full expected
leadership of the sector, in close coordination with WHO as CLA.
