Another university in Tehran has been attacked, Iranian state news agency IRNA reported on Monday, in a strike that comes days after one of the nation’s leading universities was also hit in the capital.

Sharif University was hit during the US-Israeli attacks, the report said.

University President Masoud Tajrishi condemned the airstrike in strong terms. “Sharif University is an academic institution whose mission lies in the field of culture and the dissemination of knowledge,” he was quoted as saying. There were no fatalities.

Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said that bunker-busting bombs were deployed in the attack, in what he slammed as a “symbol of the madness and ignorance” on the part of US President Donald Trump.

“He does not understand that Iran’s knowledge does not lie in concrete,” Iranian media quoted him as saying. “The real bulwark is the will of our professors.”

The latest hit comes after the medical research institute and the laboratory building at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran were almost completely destroyed in an attack on Friday.
