Sung Won Sohn, professor of finance and economics at LMU, said it will take a while for gas prices to reach similar levels to those before the war in Iran. Sohn said there are many factors at play, such as oil facility destruction and ship displacement from the Persian Gulf, that need to be stabilized before Americans see a difference at the pump.
