(CNN) – The war in Iran could make it more expensive to have safe sex.
Karex is the world’s largest condom maker, producing brands like Durex and Trojan. Its CEO told the New York Times that consumers could see price hikes on its products, up to 30 percent.
The company says the war is affecting its supply of raw materials and chemicals.
The Strait of Hormuz remains largely closed, also increasing the cost of oil and gas.
