(CNN) – The conflict in Iran continues to put upward pressure on oil and gas prices.
AAA reports regular fuel is up 3 cents to an average of $4.06 a gallon.
Brent crude is solidly above $100 a barrel. That is after two previous days of settling over that mark.
The U.S. benchmark, WTI crude, is in range of that same price point.
The increases come as President Donald Trump declines to give a timeline on ending the conflict.
The White House said it wants to reach a long-term cease-fire deal with Iran.
The Pentagon said a third U.S. aircraft carrier just arrived in the region.
