(WFSB) – Drivers are paying more at the pump as the U.S.-Iran conflict continues.
Crude oil prices spiked overnight, topping $125 a barrel.
Prices eased Thursday morning but remained more than $50 higher than when the conflict began.
The jump showed up at gas stations.
According to AAA, the average price for regular gas in the state is now $4.33 a gallon.
That is three cents above the national average and nearly 30 cents higher than last week.
Drivers in Fairfield County are paying the most at $4.39 per gallon, per AAA.
Tolland County is paying the least at $4.29.
