BOONE COUNTY, IN. (WLFI) – State Road 39 in Boone County will be closed for up to a week beginning Monday, May 11th, for railroad crossing repairs.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says CSX Transportation crews will shut down State Road 39 near Tyre Road, which is about a mile and a quarter south of Lebanon. The closure is weather-dependent and could change.
Drivers should follow the official detour: Interstate 74 to State Road 75 to State Road 32 and back to State Road 39.
INDOT is asking drivers to use caution and, if possible, find another route.
