The very large \u200bcrude carrier (VLCC) Basrah Energy loaded 2 million \u200bbarrels of Upper Zakum crude from Abu Dhabi \u2060National Oil Co’s (ADNOC’s) Zirku terminal on May \u200b1 and exited the Strait of Hormuz on May \u200b6, the data showed on Monday.<\/p>\n
The Panama-flagged vessel offloaded its cargo at the Fujairah Oil Tanker Terminals on May \u200b8, according to the data.<\/p>\n
It was not immediately \u200bclear which company chartered the tanker owned and managed by \u200cshipper \u2060Sinokor. Sinokor did not immediately respond to a request for comment outside of office hours.<\/p>\n
Separately, another VLCC, \u200bthe \u2060Kiara M, exited the Gulf on Sunday with its transponder switched off, the data showed. It was \u2060not immediately \u200bclear where the San Marino-flagged \u200btanker would discharge the 2 million barrels of Iraqi crude \u200bon board.<\/p>\n
