US president Donald Trump on Tuesday sharply criticised sections of the media over reports he claimed portrayed Iran as performing well amid the ongoing conflict. Reiterating his claims that Iran\u2019s military had been \u201ccompletely demolished\u201d and describing the country as an \u201ceconomic disaster\u201d without leadership, Trump accused the press of undermining the US position.<\/p>\n
In a post on Truth Social, Trump alleged that sections of the media were \u201caiding and abetting\u201d Iran by giving the country \u201cfalse hope.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen the Fake News says that the Iranian enemy is doing well, Militarily, against us, it’s virtual TREASON in that it is such a false, and even preposterous, statement. They are aiding and abetting the enemy! All it does is give Iran false hope when none should exist.
