The association represents a significant departure in how national teams connect with global fanbases, extending beyond traditional jersey sponsorships and into the area of generative artificial intelligence involvement.

The agreement would prioritise fan interaction above on-field performance, utilising AI to generate immersive content and bridge the gap between the clubs and their worldwide fanbases.

“This sponsorship will leverage Google’s cutting-edge AI technology to celebrate the region’s rich sports culture and transform the fan experience,” said Google in a statement.

Over the following three months, Google and the two football federations will launch a series of Gemini-powered fan activations. Supporters can create bespoke cheering images with Gemini’s text-to-image model, Nano Banana, or write team anthems using its text-to-music model, Lyria. Fans will be able to utilise Gemini to decipher complex football regulations, analyse match performances, and forecast outcomes.

The agreement is one of the first AI-focused sports sponsorships in the Arab world. And it comes as digital firms increasingly aim to tap into football’s large and economically profitable fandom ahead of the World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Google said the agreement demonstrates its commitment to making football more inclusive and immersive for Arab fans.

Morocco’s historic journey to the semifinals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, making them the first African and Arab nation to do so, has helped the area create a sizable worldwide fan following.

The technology behemoth, Google has officially struck deals with both the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and the…

[14
6243,1446,38582,94,34231,38583,38584
0":"post-111571","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-iraq","8":"tag-fifa-world-cup-2026","9":"tag-google","10":"tag-google-gemini","11":"tag-iraq","12":"tag-iraqi-football-association","13":"tag-royal-moroccan-football-federation","14":"tag-sponsorship
["GET
