The Israeli military carried out a series of airstrikes on
\nseveral villages in southern Lebanon on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of
\nmultiple civilians, while Hezbollah continued its attacks on Israeli forces
\ndeployed in the region.<\/p>\n
Local media sources reported that the Israeli strikes since
\nearly morning targeted the towns of Kfartebnit, Arnoun, Zrarieh, Aytit, Al-Sawana,
\nChoukin, Shuhur, Zawtar Al-Sharqiya, Froun, Kfar Melki, Al-Qsaiba, Srifa, Al-Qulaila,
\nAl-Mansouri, Siddiqin, Kfara, Taffahata, and Hadatha in southern Lebanon.
\nAdditional strikes reportedly hit the villages of Libbaya, Sohmor, Yahmar, and
\nAin Al-Tineh in western Beqaa.<\/p>\n
The Israeli military said earlier that it had launched a
\nwave of strikes targeting what it described as Hezbollah infrastructure in
\nsouthern Lebanon.<\/p>\n
