The Israeli military announced that it is carrying out airstrikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon, just hours before the start of a third round of U.S.-mediated talks between Lebanon and Israel in Washington.\u0627\u0636\u0627\u0641\u0629 \u0627\u0639\u0644\u0627\u0646<\/p>\n
In a post on X, the Israeli military said it had begun targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in several areas of southern Lebanon, following evacuation warnings issued for a number of villages in the south and in the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon.<\/p>\n
Lebanon and Israel are set to begin a new round of peace talks in Washington on Thursday as the current ceasefire approaches its expiration, despite continued deadly violence.<\/p>\n
On the eve of the negotiations, Lebanon\u2019s Ministry of Health announced that 22 people, including eight children, were killed as Israel intensified its air campaign.<\/p>\n
Lebanon\u2019s official National News Agency reported that Israeli strikes targeted approximately 40 locations in southern and eastern Lebanon.<\/p>\n
The most recent meeting between Lebanon and Israel took place on 23 April at the White House, where U.S. President Donald Trump announced a three-week extension of the ceasefire, expressing optimism about reaching a historic agreement.<\/p>\n
