We are encouraged by your fresh leadership and look forward to collaborating on a bold new agenda aligned with our\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ambassador Tom Barrack (@USAMBTurkiye) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/USAMBTurkiye\/status\/2054976832156442882?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">May 14, 2026<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, Iraq\u2019s Parliament <a href=\"https:\/\/shafaq.com\/en\/Iraq\/Iraq-s-cabinet-ministers-take-constitutional-oath-after-confidence-vote\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">granted<\/a> confidence to<br \/>\nAl-Zaidi\u2019s cabinet and ministerial program, <a href=\"https:\/\/shafaq.com\/en\/Iraq\/Iraqi-Parliament-confirms-cabinet-nominees-by-overwhelming-majority\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">approving<\/a> 14 ministers while<br \/>\npostponing votes on six portfolios, including higher education and interior,<br \/>\nfollowing objections to several nominees.<\/p>\n<p>The remarks came as Washington closely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shafaq.com\/en\/Iraq\/US-hinges-future-Iraq-ties-to-stance-on-Iran-linked-militias\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">monitors<\/a> the<br \/>\nformation of Iraq\u2019s next government.
