Iraqi MPs<br \/>\npreviously <a href=\"https:\/\/shafaq.com\/en\/Iraq\/Iraqi-MPs-propose-election-ban-on-incoming-ministers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">advanced<\/a> a proposal requiring incoming ministers in the government<br \/>\nof Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi to sign written pledges preventing them and<br \/>\nclose relatives from running in future elections.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, the Council of Representatives of Iraq <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shafaq.com\/en\/Iraq\/Iraqi-Parliament-confirms-cabinet-nominees-by-overwhelming-majority\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">approved<\/a> 14<br \/>\nministerial nominees by an absolute majority vote, filling key portfolios<br \/>\nacross economic, social, and diplomatic sectors.
