President Trump is reviewing \u201call credible options\u201d for controlling oil prices amid the joint US-Israeli operation against Iran, the White House said, insisting the spike was \u201cshort-term\u201d.<\/p>\n

The US senator Lindsey Graham questioned why Saudi Arabia \u2014 and other Gulf countries \u2014 were not joining the fight against Iran and said \u201cconsequences will follow\u201d if they did not change their policy.<\/p>\n

Tories demand rethink on fuel duty rise<\/p>\n
Sir Mel Stride, the shadow chancellor, criticised Rachel Reeves\u2019s handling of the economy in the lead-up to the conflict in the Middle East. The chancellor was imposing \u201cruinous\u201d taxes on Britain\u2019s energy sector, he said.<\/p>\n

Impacts were reported but it was not immediately clear if they were the result of cluster munitions or debris from missiles being shot down.<\/p>\n Over the last week Israelis have been regularly advised to seek shelter, sometimes every few hours.
